Limitless within Limits---Homage to Tagore’s songs

The Italian artists Nike Borghese and Karen Shah were inspired by the songs of Tagore to create an entire series of paintings using very effectively symbols and diverse imagery, often from the Italian countryside. While Tagore’s music conjured an atmosphere for them, the words in translation explained the nuanced emotions which complemented the music.
